Overview
At Shailesh Forging Works, we offer advanced heat treatment services that enhance the mechanical properties and performance of seamless rolled rings, forged rings, and other critical components. Our facility is equipped with fully automated gas-fired water quench furnaces and box-type electric furnaces—built to handle alloy steel forging, carbon steel forgings, and stainless steel forged parts with absolute consistency.
Whether it’s normalizing, tempering, or annealing, our metallurgical processes are optimized to meet global standards and deliver dimensionally stable, high-strength components for high-demand industries.
Key Capabilities of Our Heat Treatment Facility
Fully Automated Water Quench Furnaces
Gas-fired and digitally controlled for precision quenching of carbon steel flanges, stainless steel rolled rings, and other forged components.
High Batch Capacity – Up to 10 MT
Large-volume capability ideal for batch processing of heavy flanges, gear rings, and sleeve bearings.
Box-Type Furnace Dimensions: 3.2M x 3.2M x 1.2M
Accommodates a wide range of shapes and sizes, from pellet ring dies to valve bodies.
Controlled Atmosphere Processing
Ensures uniform heating cycles, low oxidation, and repeatable quality across all steel forging products.
Heat Treatment Processes We Offer
Normalizing
Improves grain structure and toughness for better machining and performance.
Tempering
Adds ductility and impact resistance to hardened forgings.
Annealing
Softens and stress-relieves alloy steel and non-ferrous forged parts, improving machinability.
Benefits of Our Heat Treatment Services
Enhan ced strength, hardness, and wear resistance
Reduced internal stress for dimensional stability
Improved fatigue performance in high-load components
Uniform microstructure for precision rolled rings and flange forgings
Full compliance with ASTM, DIN, API, and international metallurgical standards
